The ACROBAT tumbled into my doodles as a solution to a brief given for a commission with the theme of a circus. Six casts of the same figure were placed in a 'circus ring', with none appearing quite the same. The result was a piece of sculpture which could be turned or stacked on top of each other, like chinese acrobats.
